Brinkley and Paula met their senior year of high school and have been best friends ever since.  Their lives have been a constant exploration of family, friendship and adventures filled with laughter and love.  This children’s book is their first collaboration.
 
Paula is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in communications and Brinkley is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in history.
 
Matthew, Paula’s youngest son, is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in biochemistry and studio art. He is a first-year medical student at the University of Alabama-Birmingham.
 
Brinkley, a middle school math teacher at Lake Oconee Academy,  lives in Greensboro, Georgia, where Eva hollers.  Paula lives in Mobile, Alabama, where she recently retired as an art teacher at St. Paul’s Early Education Center and teaches in her own studio.
 
They meet as often as possible at Golden Stream Fishing Club in Ladonia, Alabama, to relax and create.  This book was imagined and created on the farm table there.
