Beyond the Book: The Art of Collage

Henri Matisse began to use collage as he got older.  He used brightly colored paper and with scissors to cut out simple shapes, animals, leaves, dancers, and flowers.  He arranged them to make a picture.  This one is The Snail 1953.  Can you see the snail?
